Cheer Practice on Sunday, 1/4

Due to a conflict for the gym, practice on Sunday, 1/4 has been rescheduled to 3-5 pm instead of 1-2:30 pm. Sorry for the inconvience that this might cause.

Reminders!!!

This is just a quick reminder that we will be practicing on Sunday, 1/4 from 1-2:30 pm. The remainder of the week consists of the following:

  • Monday, 1/5 -- Practice 7-8 am and Home basketball game vs. Springfield Calvary @6:15 pm
  • Tuesday, 1/6 -- Home basketball game vs. Greenview @ 6:15 pm -- 8th Grade Night -- 8th graders; make sure that you are practicing your 8th grade dance
  • Wednesday, 1/7 -- Practice 7-8 am
  • Thursday, 1/8 -- Away game @ Springfield St. Agnes @ 6:15 pm
  • Friday, 1/9 -- Practice 7-8 am
  • Saturday, 1/10 -- ICCA Competition at Riverton High School -- TBA

This is going to be a very stressful week leading up to our first of 2 opportunities to qualify for ICCA State that will be held on Sunday, February 15th in Springfield, IL.

WLB Cheerleaders Place 7th at State!

On December 13th, the WLB Cheerleaders traveled to Peoria to compete in the IESA Cheerleading Championships. After a great performance and a lot of tough competition, they placed 7th out of 21 teams in small division category. Congratulations girls on a great performance and a great placement!

Gotta Love Those Basketball Games!

The girls had fun cheering sidelines at the first home game of the season.
The 7th/8th grade boys basketball teams played against Heyworth Junior High School on Thursday, November 13th.



On Tuesday, November 18th, the 7th/8th grade boys basketball team played against Delavan Junior High. The girls were excited to unvail their new uniforms for the home crowd! They also enjoyed showing everyone their awesome stunts.


Thursday, December 4th, it was back on the road and off to Hartsburg. The 7th/8th grade boys basketball team played Hartem Junior High. This was the girls first night cheering in almost 2 weeks due the Thanksgiving Holiday.
